Meanwhile, investigators are looking into the Pope's private documents that were seized at Gabriele's home. The three cardinals who were commissioned with the investigation are still working with Vatican Police to find out exactly what happened. 

The Vatican spokesman, Father Federico Lombardi said the Pope is aware of everything that is happening and is "deeply saddened.” Lombardi asked the press to avoid unfounded conspiracy theories and plots in what's become known as 'Vatileaks'. He then added that he hopes the investigation will uncover the truth and solve these problems.
