Several events will take place in larger venues to accommodate more people. For Ash Wednesday, the services will take place inside St. Peter's Basilica, meanwhile his last general audience, on Wednesday, February 27, will take place in St. Peter’s Square. 

The spokesperson for the Vatican explained that Benedict XVI will not publish an encyclical in the new few weeks, as it was expected.
