Holy See confirms investigation of Order of Malta

Pope sends condolences for victims of Turkish cargo jet crash

Many homes and vehicles in the small village are also destroyed. Superior General of Jesuits, is now the new president of the Union of Superiors General


Adolfo Nicolás replaces José Rodríguez Carballo, who was recently appointed by Pope Francis as the Secretary of the Congregation for Institutes of Consecrated Life.

The Union of Superiors General is a division supported by the Vatican. Its goal is to promote religious life and also to coordinate the communication and collaboration among different religious orders, bishops and the Holy See. 

Before this appointment, Adolfo Nicolas was previously deputy chairman of the Superiors General.
