Their fame grew fast in their hometown and they were soon invited to perform at festivals and concerts. What began as a hobby turned into their first album, 'Diante da Cruz', published in 1994.
Their unique way of approaching mankind's fundamental questions made them even more popular, not only in the religious sphere, but also with specialized magazines.
The group began to conquer the music market in 2002. The album they released in 2005 was voted the best hard rock album in the country the following year.
For two consecutive years, in 2010 and 2011, they were honored at the Latin Grammys. In August 2011, they also traveled to Spain, to be Brazil's offical band during WYD in Madrid.
When their own country was chosen to host the next World Youth Day, they celebrated by composing this hymn, entitled 'Aurora'. Even though it won't be the meeting's official anthem, it will certainly be an instant hit among pilgrims at WYD 2013.
