'Strange Notions', an online meeting point for Catholics and atheists

2013-06-15

Its name, 'Strange Notions', refers to both a passage in the Acts of the Apostles, but also to the fact that both Catholics and atheists think the other side's views are 'strange'. And even though the content is written by Catholics, arguments are all impartial.

The website offers many in-depth articles and videos on various subjects, ranging from the existence of God, Jesus, to science, morality and history. Although anonymous comments are not allowed, everyone has a chance to post their point of view and begin a discussion.

Two main sections can be used as starting point: '20 arguments for God's existence and 'If Catholicism is true, then what?'. A long list of recommended books also helps the reader who wants to know more.
