But with fame, the group grew apart. Some left, others decided to work with a new team, even though the name 'Son by Four' still remained. In 2007, Pedro Quiles and brothers Javier and Jorge Montes decided they wanted their music to convey a deeper message or, as they describe it 'God had a bigger plan for them'.
Now 'Son by Four' devotes its music to promoting a Christian message. Albums such as 'Aquí Está el Cordero', 'Abba Nuestro' and 'Madre Mia' are songs of praise to Jesus and Our Lady.
The group released its latest album in 2011. It's title, 'Católico Soy', which means, I'm Catholic. That alone sums up what the group chose as its new genre.
