Crowds welcome Pope to Brazil's 'Our Lady of Aparecida Shrine'

After a brief  flight in a military helicopter, Pope Francis arrived to Brazils Our  Lady of Aparecida Shrine, where he was welcomed by thousands of   cheering faithful. 

The Pope made his way to the Sanctuary's Basilica in a popemobile, stopping along the way to  bless a few children. The crowd didn't seem to mind the rainy weather, and welcomed Pope Francis by singing and chanting.

At the shrine's entrance, the Pope was welcomed by the Church's rector and by its residing priests.
