The next World Youth Day will take place in Krakow, Poland in the year 2016. Just hours after Pope Francis made the announcement in Brazil, the official WYD website was launched.

Cardinal Stainslao Dziwisz, who was actually John Paul II's personal secretary, launched this video, reminding everyone that by that time, John Paul II will be a saint.

The website is available in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Polish.

It has a section dedicated to John Paul II, who spent much of his life in Krakow. In that city, he studied at a clandestine seminary and he served as a priest and bishop there.

The page displays the main shrines in Krakow, like the Divine Mercy, or the "Do not be Afraid' papal center, which was built in honor of John Paul II. There in that center, there's a museum of the Polish Pope, a parish and a volunteer center.

Through a video, users are encouraged to learn more about the city, that will host the next World Youth Day in 2016.
