Pope Francis: No people is criminal and no religion is terrorist

February 17, 2017. Pope Francis has sent an important message to the Meetings of Popular Movements that is taking place in Modesto (California). The pope denounces the "moral blindness of this indifference”: "under the guise of what is politically correct or ideologically fashionable, one looks at those who suffer without touching them. But they are televised live; they are talked about in euphemisms and with apparent tolerance, but nothing is done systematically to heal the social wounds or to confront the structures that leave so many brothers and sisters by the wayside”.

American singer shows young people how to live 'against the tide'

Thanks to a friend, American singer-songwriter Jaime Jamgochian discovered God, and ever since, she has not stopped worshiping him through song.

"You can almost feel like something was welling up in our own church body, to believe again, no matter what things looked like, our God is good. And we started taking it out on the road and we just started seeing people connect with that message of hope.”

Her tracks have been well received among Christian radio stations in the U.S., although she is not stopping there. Jiame Jamgochian has also created a movement to help young girls to discover values and worth, by being closer to God.

"So what is 'Modest is Hottest' all about? It's a movement, I'm excited to say, I've started to see a generation of young people, being raised up to say, 'You know what? I don't want to conform anymore. I don't have to dress like, talk like, walk like, act like what I see on TV, magazines, the media.' They're saying, 'I want to take a stand, and live a God filled life, and be the world changer God has created me to be.'”

For this Nashville native, her work and God are indistinguishable, because through her music she has found a way to reach out to people, and connect them with God.
