October 26, 2013 (Romereports.com) ThisSaturday, Pope Francis will give out one of the most prestigioustheological prizes to theAnglicanDean of King's College, Richard A. Burridge, and the Germantheologist Christian Schaller. The latter is oneof the chief scholars that is helping publish the complete works ofJoseph Ratzinger. 


Thisis the third prize given by the Joseph Ratzinger-Benedict XVIFoundation, the institution thatholds Popeemeritus'royaltiesfrom the sale of his books. 

Theprize is given to "distinguished scholars in certain areas oftheological knowledge” and it includes a $70,000check to continue theirstudiesand investigations.
