Pope Francis will have a very busy day on Sunday, December 1st. In the afternoon, the Pope will leave the Vatican for a few hours, to go visit a Roman parish. But it will be more than just a visit, since he will actually be administering many Sacraments.
The Pope is scheduled to arrive at the San Cirillo Alessandrino church at 4 o clock. Following his trademark style, he will begin by greeting the sick. He will then bless those who were Baptized within the last year.
Since he's constantly highlighting the need to go to Confession, he plans to Confess a group of parishioners.
At 6 o clock, he will celebrate Mass at the parish and during that ceremony he will Confirm nine youths. Afterward he plans on meeting with those who run the parish, including volunteers.
This will mark the Pope's second official visit to a local Roman parish. The first one was back in May when he visited the Santi Elisabetta e Zaccaria parish.
