Pope sends condolences for victims of Turkish cargo jet crash

January 16, 2017. On Monday morning, a Turkish cargo plane has tragically crashed in Kyrgyzstan, killing dozens and hospitalizing many others. Many homes and vehicles in the small village are also destroyed. As a result, Vatican Secretary of State, Pietro Parolin has sent a message of condolences to the victims of the disaster on behalf of Pope Francis.

The web opens up a world of possibilities and this year that includes streaming the Pope's Christmas Eve Mass, live on the web.

The Vatican's official website, www.news.va will carry the Pope's Mass online. In fact, one can even choose to listen to the Mass in one of five major languages.

Then, there's also the Vatican's YouTube channel, www.youtube.com/vatican There, one can also see the Mass online, but only in Italian, with no simultaneous translation.
