Pope Francis welcomes Austrian bishops for ad limina visit

(-VIDEO ONLY-) Pope Francis welcomed a delegation from the Austrian bishops' conference, led by Vienna Cardinal Christoph Schönborn. 

The audience took part on Thursday at the Apostolic Palace. The Pope met with the bishop's individually, as well as a group. 

In his remarks to the Pope, Cardinal Schönborn talked about the face of the Church in Austria. He said that even though it may be perceived as "old” and with fewer and fewer members, the Church in the central European country is actually alive, engaging young people through a series of ecclesiastical movements.

After his speech, the Pope gave each of the visiting bishops a gift, before saying goodbye.
