Pope Francis: No people is criminal and no religion is terrorist

February 17, 2017. Pope Francis has sent an important message to the Meetings of Popular Movements that is taking place in Modesto (California). The pope denounces the "moral blindness of this indifference”: "under the guise of what is politically correct or ideologically fashionable, one looks at those who suffer without touching them. But they are televised live; they are talked about in euphemisms and with apparent tolerance, but nothing is done systematically to heal the social wounds or to confront the structures that leave so many brothers and sisters by the wayside”.

How much would you pay to own the Pope's Harley-Davidson motorcycle?

2014-02-07

It's the million dollar question, or at least a few hundred thousand dollar question: How much would you pay for the Pope's motorcycle? His Harley-Davidson was auctioned off at a charity event in Paris, for no less than $327,000

The bike was given to the Pope as a gift last year, when the brand celebrated its 110th anniversary.  Instead of having it parked at the Vatican, Pope Francis decided to donate it to charity. The funds will go to a soup kitchen and shelter for the homeless in Rome.

The pre-sale estimate was of $16,000, but it's safe the say the anonymous buyer, was willing to invest some extra cash. It's unlikely that the Pope ever used the 2013 Dyna Super Glide Harley, but it is signed by the Pope himself.
