Pope jokes with Bulgarian bishops during 'ad limina' visit


(-JUST VIDEO-) Pope Francis received Bulgarian bishops in their "ad limina” visit to the Vatican. The Pope urged them to promote a more "intense and brotherly” dialogue with the Orthodox Church. He also asked their dioceses to attend the canonization of John Paul II, "the first Slavic Popec”. 

The gathering also had time for jokes: when one of the bishops asked the Pope to stand to his left in the photograph, Pope Francis answered that  he was afraid of being confused with "impenitent thief” crucified to the left of Christ.
