Pope Francis: No people is criminal and no religion is terrorist

February 17, 2017. Pope Francis has sent an important message to the Meetings of Popular Movements that is taking place in Modesto (California). The pope denounces the "moral blindness of this indifference”: "under the guise of what is politically correct or ideologically fashionable, one looks at those who suffer without touching them. But they are televised live; they are talked about in euphemisms and with apparent tolerance, but nothing is done systematically to heal the social wounds or to confront the structures that leave so many brothers and sisters by the wayside”.

Nico Montero: Theologian, Philosophy teacher and...experienced singer

2014-02-21

Spanish singer Nico Montero has been in the music business for 22 years, has released 12 albums and written four plays.

Despite all these big numbers, this theologian and singer has one main goal: using music to talk about God. That's what he's done since he released his first album in 1992.

He admits that he is not a professional singer. His real field is education: he runs a school where he teaches Philosophy.

Still, he wants his songs to be a message of hope, and spends a lot of energy and optimism on each one, generally addressed to young people.

All the proceeds from his music are given to an association called "The voice of the voiceless”, that helps and gives support to young people at risk of social exclusion.

2014 will be another year full of concerts for Nico Montero and his band "Low Cost”. Not only in Spain, their homeland, but also abroad: in July they will play in Indianapolis and New York.
