On Sunday, May 4th, Pope Francis will visit the Roman parish of St. Stanislaw. Usually, the Polish community in Rome attends this parish. On this occasion they'll have a thanks giving Mass in light of the canonization of St. John Paul II.
Before the canonization, he sent a video message to Poland, where he described John Paul II as an example. In it, he says, the new saint encouraged Christian to not be afraid.
During his visit, he is expected to meet a group of homeless people as well.
The two hour visit will start at 9:30 am. Pope Francis will then head back to the Vatican to lead the Regina Coeli in St. Peter's Square.
