Pope Francis: No people is criminal and no religion is terrorist

February 17, 2017. Pope Francis has sent an important message to the Meetings of Popular Movements that is taking place in Modesto (California). The pope denounces the "moral blindness of this indifference”: "under the guise of what is politically correct or ideologically fashionable, one looks at those who suffer without touching them. But they are televised live; they are talked about in euphemisms and with apparent tolerance, but nothing is done systematically to heal the social wounds or to confront the structures that leave so many brothers and sisters by the wayside”.

Jon Carlo, the singer who “brings God's music”

2014-09-12

"I can't stop shouting and praising your name”, is what Jon Carlo sings to God in one of his latest songs.

Born in the Dominican Republic, this singer has lived for years in New York. It was there that he "met Jesus” in 1993, thanks to the Catholic Charismatic Renewal.

From then on, he has used music to give thanks for his faith and to repeat that "God is Love.” He released his latest album on February 2014 and it's not by chance that it is entitled "Traigo música de Dios” (I'm bringing God's music).

One of his greatest hits is "Te necesito” (I need you) which he recorded in the Bronx in 2010. He sings of God as someone who doesn't abandon us.

Jon Carlo also sang at the 2013 WYD in Rio as a representative of the Hispanic community living in the United States.

It's there in the US where he will begin his "Traigo música de Dios” tour, which will also take him to Latin America and Europe.
