Following an intense week with trips to Strasbourg and Turkey, Pope Francis returns to his regular schedule.
He started the week by meeting with the new Ambassador of Costa Rica, Marco Vinicio Vargas Pereira. On Monday afternoon, is his meeting with Bishops from Switzerland, who are in Rome for their ad limina visit.
As usual, on Wednesday he will greet thousands of pilgrims in St. Peter's Square during his weekly general audience.
Then on Thursday, Pope Francis is scheduled to meet with the President of Mozambique, Armando Emilio Gebuza for the first time.
That same day, he will also address a group of Italian volunteers who help the elderly and the poor. In fact, pilgrims who visit the Vatican will be able to see the new Christmas tree.
On Friday the Pope will have a private meeting with Kiko Arguello, from the Neocatecumenal Way and also with Salvatore Martinez, president of the Rinnovamento nello Spirito.
Finally, on Sunday at noon, the Pope will pray the Angelus with pilgrims in St. Peter's Square.
