St. Peter's Square says goodbye to the Vatican manger and Christmas Tree

(-ONLY VIDEO-) Every year on February 2, the Vatican takes down its official Christmas Tree and Nativity Scene. This tradition marks the Feast of the the Presentation of Jesus at the Temple.

This year, tourists filled the square as workers took the figures of the manger away. The Nativity Scene set was inspired by the Italian opera "The Elixir of Love.”

After standing tall by the side of the obelisk, the white fir tree brought from Calabria will now be used to make wooden toys for needy children.
