'We have made this small miracle. Playing music to show the Pope's charity toward the poor. There will be more than 3,000  people tomorrow.â?

It is estimated that more than 3,000 homeless and poor people will attend a special classical music concert organized by the Vatican.

The concert will be directed by Daniel Oren, a Jewish musician who was able to greet the Pope minutes before Wednesday's general audience in St. Peter's Square.

Pope Francis also greeted some of the concert organizers who visited the Vatican with their families. He said that the concert is intended to create a lasting joy.

POPE FRANCIS
'Music has the capacity to unite souls and to unite us to the Lord...It soars high and it liberates us from anxiety.

The free concert will be held at 6:00 p.m. local time in Rome. Parts of the 'The Divine Comedyâ? by Dante will be performed, to mark 750 years since the birth of the famous poet.

This is a unique event, inspired by Pope Francis' call to focus on poverty. His renewed focus on the poor has also led to showers and toilets for the homeless to be installed near St. Peter's Square. Recently, a group of homeless people were given a guided tour of the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel.
