There he met with the heads of Vatican dicasteries. They prayed together and then behind closed doors, they talked about the Jubilee Year of Mercy, which is set to start on December 8th.

The Vatican has given some general details about the Holy Year of Mercy, but no specifics. They include events to help the sick and disabled. There's also talk about involving prisoners in one of the celebrations. There will also be events for volunteers, deacons, catechists and religious.

The Holy Year of Mercy will run until November 20th 2016.
