"Good, I'm alive.”
"I am alive, yes, I survive.”
This hug and colorful greeting kicked off Pope Francis' meeting with José Mújica, the former president of Uruguay. He was accompanied by his wife, Lucía Topolansky.
That afternoon, Mújica promoted his book in Rome. He told journalists and fans how his second meeting with Pope Francis went, and what they talked about.

"Beautiful. I spoke about the problems of integration in Latin America.”
Aside from more serious topics, the two also got into a discussion about something that Pope Francis misses as Pope: the local drink mate.
"If we had known, we would have brought one.”
Before leaving, Mújica made a request.
"Thank you. Thank you, and do not forget to be tough to all the world leaders.”
