The influential Council of Cardinals, which is advising Pope Francis on Roman Curia reform, is holding its 10th meeting on Monday. Pope Francis will discuss the progress of reforms with them.
The Pope will continue working with the group, which is also known as C9, until Wednesday, June 10th. That day, he will also hold his weekly general audience in St. Peter's Square. Thousands of pilgrims are expected to attend.
Bishops from Puerto Rico will be in Rome this week for their "ad limina” visit and will meet Roman Curia and the Pope.
On Friday, the Pope will participate in an international retreat for priests. It has been organized by the Catholic Fraternity and the Catholic Charismatic Renewal. He will guide one of the meditations and then celebrate Mass.
The retreat will take place in Rome at the Archbasilica of St. John Lateran, from June 10th to 14th. More than 800 people will participate.
On Sunday, Pope Francis will pray the Angelus prayer from the window of the Apostolic Palace at noon.
