May 23, 2017. After the deadly terrorist attack at Victoria Station in Manchester, England, the pope has sent his condolences to the victims and their families.

Classic Spanish song “Sevillanas” played for Pope Francis after Mass

(VIDEO ONLY) After the Canonization Mass for four new saints in St. Peter's Square, Pope Francis stepped onto the Popemobile to say farewell to the pilgrims who attended the ceremony.

The organist played a popular song from Sevilla, Spain, which is dedicated to a departing friend: "Something dies in my soul when a friend goes...Don't go, just don't go, please...”

It conjured up memories of the town that the newly canonized Saint Maria de la Purísima lived in.
