Mission accomplished: see Pope Francis in St. Peter´s Square

2015-11-01

From Mexico all the way to St. Peter´s square, this group made it happen during one of the Pope's general audiences.

"We are very, very happy to have been in the audience and it touched our hearts profoundly.”

Since the Vatican recently announced that he will be traveling to Mexico, the group is even more excited about the papal trip.

"We feel like he is one of us.”

Mexico is known for being a predominantly Catholic nation.  This group of pilgrims is not the first, nor will they be the last.

"Mexico, always faithful, like Pope John Paul II once said.”

They checked seeing the Pope off their list. Now, the group says it will stay a bit longer to enjoy more of the Eternal City.
