Autopsy: Wesolowski died of natural causes


December18, 2015. The Vatican announced today that the death of Msgr. JozefWesolowski, a former Holy See diplomat who was accused of sexuallyabusing minors, "was ascribable to natural causes (acute myocardialinfarction), excluding other exogenous causes.” 

The press releasenoted that the conclusion was drawn from an autopsy "conducted instrict accordance with the guidelines and protocols recognized atinternational level.” Wesolowski died on August 27th, shortlybefore his trial was set to begin.
