Vatican comments on situation of missing Chinese Bishop Shao Zhumin

June 26, 2017. Bishop Peter Shao Zhumin, from Wenzhou in Continental China, was taken into custody by Chinese police on Easter weekend 2017. While recognized as a bishop in the Catholic Church, he is an unofficial bishop or "underground” in China, since the Chinese government does not recognize him as religious.

Se llama Mohammed y tiene sólo diez días de vida. Y lo primero que está viviendo son las duras condiciones de los refugiados. Su madre y su padre intentan por todos los medios darle un techo y comida.

"A veces consigo que me presten dinero. No puedo caminar mucho porque cayó un proyectil en mi casa y perdí los dedos de los pies”.

Viven en esta pequeña habitación. Están en el Líbano, en una nave industrial en ruinas en la que hay otras veinte familias.

No son las mejores condiciones para un bebé: hay muy poca luz, no hay calefacción y las paredes no aislan ni del frío ni de la humedad.

El Papa ha intentado varias veces concienciar sobre su situación. En el Día Mundial del Emigrante y del Refugiado habló a unos 6.000 migrantes y refugiados que se reunieron en San Pedro. Además, ha pedido a todas las parroquias de Europa que se movilicen para ayudarles.

Mientras tanto, Mohammed crece. Y su familia sueña con llevarlo a su propia casa en su propio país. Sueñan con regresar a una Siria en paz para reconstruirla
