It is based on the true story of Anna Beam, a girl who was cured of a serious illness ... in the most incredible way.
"So you're telling me that when this baby girl fell 30 feet, she hit her head just right; and it didn't kill her and it didn't paralyze her. It healed her?”
The film, "Miracles from Heaven," is also the story of how this family's faith was stronger than adversity.
"We need a solution. We need it now.”
"Then we'll get it.”
"By not losing our faith.”
It all starts when young Anna begins to show the first signs of an incurable disease that prevents eating. Her parents struggle to get doctors to slow the growth of the disease or at least alleviate Anna's suffering. But one day, something even worse happens.
After waking up from the coma, Anna said she had been to Heaven. Hence the name of the movie, "Miracles from Heaven."
It seems that the film itself has wrought a miracle. Its protagonist, famous actress Jennifer Garner, says that participating in this film has brought her closer to the faith after decades of being away.
