The pope denounces the "moral blindness of this indifference”: "under the guise of what is politically correct or ideologically fashionable, one looks at those who suffer without touching them. Pope Francis at Regina Coeli: Love for the Lord is proven through actions

2016-05-16

After Pentecost Mass, the Pope prayed the last Regina Coeli of the year from the papal apartment window.

From there, Pope Francis recalled that the Christian life should have real ramifications in the daily lives of people.

POPE FRANCIS
"The love for a person, and also for the Lord, is shown not with words but with facts. The command to keep and observe the commandments must likewise be understood in such a way that they affect our whole life. Being Christians does not primarily mean pertaining to a certain culture.”

Since it was Pentecost, the Pope also dedicated some words to the Holy Spirit. He said he is a teacher who helps internalize the teachings of Jesus and to evangelize.
