There are only a few weeks until the Pope visits Poland, and its new ambassador cannot wait.

Janusz KotaÅ?ski presented his credentials to the Pope this afternoon in the Vatican's Apostolic Palace. He is 59 years old, specializes in history and speaks four languages, including Russian.

During a very emotional meeting for the diplomat and his companions, they prayed the Hail Mary with the Pope.

Pope Francis will visit the country in late July, from the 27th to 31st. There he will tour some of the places where John Paul II spent his time.

He will also visit Auschwitz and the Sanctuary of Divine Mercy, a particularly symbolic place during this Jubilee.
