Miguel Quiñones: much more than just a WYD anthem singer

2016-08-05

His songs are true prayers. This is Miguel Quiñones' music.

"I want to give you everything, because everything is yours, Lord. It's yours, Lord. It's yours, Lord.”

When this Peruvian singer started playing his music in 2000, he understood he had to play for God. That is why he prays with his music; songs which also touch upon common issues that resonate with everyone.

"I know it's not easy to follow you, Lord. You are the narrow door that leads to life.”

He has recorded six albums, the last of which is called "Escuchamos tu voz,” in English, "we hear your voice”, which includes this original video.

"We hear your voice and we follow you. We said yes and we climbed onto your boat. Filled with hope and trust in your will.”

He also participated in the making of the Spanish version of the WYD anthem in Krakow.

"Blessed are the merciful.”

He has toured Latin America and the United States singing about God, proving that music can be an inspiration for everyone, and especially those who need a word of encouragement.
