An interactive prayer book includes the 100 most important works of sacred music

2016-08-21

Orar con música, or Pray with Music in English, is a book that Mexican priest Rafael Arce wrote to convey his passion for sacred music.

It contains 100 topics ranging from Gregorian chants to music of the twentieth century through the Renaissance and Baroque period.

RAFAEL ARCE
Author, 'Orar con música'
"Throughout history, the traditional music has produced many great treasures, which can help us raise our hearts to God because music always elevates us to God. Singing to God invites us to sing together and look at all the times the great composers have left a very beautiful and deeply spiritual "footprint” in music."

Rafael Arce has previously written books about saints or marriage but believes that this musical book will be the most popular to the public. The digital version allows you to listen to the songs through Spotify.

The book Orar con música is 160 pages and the English version will be released soon.
