Pope's schedule this week: Meeting with the Council of Cardinals

Pope Francis will commence the week with a meeting with the Council of Cardinals to review the process of reform for the Roman Curia and exchange views on issues of the Church.

The meetings will continue until Wednesday afternoon. That morning, the pope will not meet with the Council in order to participate in the General Audience in St. Peter's Square.

Also, Pope Francis is expected to celebrate Mass in Santa Marta for groups of parishes in Rome on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

He will devote some time to prepare for the meeting with religious leaders in Assisi next week, followed by his upcoming trip to Georgia and Azerbaijan.

He will conclude the week on Sunday morning after praying the Angelus at noon from the window of the papal study the Apostolic Palace.
