Thursday will be a movie day because the Vatican will preview the latest Martin Scorsese film, "Silence" which tells the story of two Jesuit priests in Japan. The "Oscar-nominated" director could also be present.
On Friday, the Pope will meet with the President of Uruguay, Tabaré Vázquez.
He will also attend the first of four meditations during the month of December delivered by Fr. Raniero Cantalamessa, who is the official preacher of the papal household.
He will finish off his week of meetings with his Angelus prayer from his window in St. Peter's Square on Sunday afternoon.
