American Bishops meeting to discuss marriage, Ordinariates and assisted suicide

Revisions have been made to the Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People that would bring it up to Vatican standards by specifically addressing child pornography as a crime against Church law. ;

There will also be a presentation for the defense of marriage efforts by the U.S. Conference of Bishops. ;

Cardinal Wuerl from Washington will also make a presentation on the progress of the Ordinartiate being established to welcome Anglicans to the Catholic faith. ;

The conference will also include votes on two liturgical items and their Spanish translation and a collection of Mass prayers for major patronal feasts from Spanish speaking countries. ;
