Also attending were the Archbishop of Lviv, Mieczyslaw Mokrzycki, the Deputy Prime Minister Kolesnikov Borys and the Orthodox Archbishop of Poltava and Myrhorod. The tree comes from the Ukrainian region of Zakarpattya. It measures 98 feet tall, weighing 4.9 tons and is adorned with 2,500 gold ornaments and silver figures of angels and animals.
