Pope sends message to refugees in all corners of the world

Benedict XVI "I also call the attention of the international community, to the situation of so many people, especially families who are forced to flee their land, because of threats from armed conflicts and other type of violence.� The Pope also talked about the parable of the mustard seed and how it symbolizes the Kingdom of God. He explained that even the weak and poor of heart can have a place in the Kingdom of God. He then added, that knowing when to surrender to God, is key. Benedict XVI "The Lord teaches us that God's Kingdom is like a tiny mustard seed which becomes the largest of shrubs. Let us fervently pray that God may take our weak but sincere desires and transform them into great works of love for him and our neighbor.� Then, towards the end, the Pope announced the beatification of Eusepi Cecilia, an 18 year old young Italian woman, who was beatified in her hometown of Nepi, Sunday afternoon.
