REV. SARAH DAVIS Vice President, World Council of Methodist Churches "Pope Benedict XVI has invited fraternal delegates, of which I am one, and we come of other communions outside of Catholicism and yet we feel that there are some things that we took and share about sharing our faith. Bishop Sarah Davis represented all the Methodist churches, which are also concerned about the new evangelization. REV. SARAH DAVIS Vice President, World Council of Methodist Churches "I had the opportunity to share in the name of the world Methodist council our views on the New Evangelization. We've been involved in it for some time now. We share the things we see to meet the people where they are, and sharing the good new of Jesus Christ. The main themes the Methodist Church presented at the Synod drew a need to draw close to those who feel alienated and to remember the importance of 'leading by example', that is, consistency in explaining the faith to those who have fallen away from it. Also during those days the non-Catholic, fraternal delegates also expressed their interest to spread the message of faith to those who have no longer consider belief in God. REV. SARAH DAVIS Vice President, World Council of Methodist Churches "It's a once in a life time experience for me. Very educational. I have enjoyed meeting and making new friends from everywhere around the world. Methodism began in England in the eighteenth century and is estimated to number 75 million followers worldwide.
