Pope to Vatican Bank employees: If bureaucracy is first in line, the Church will become an NGO

POPE FRANCIS "We, the women and men of the Church are in the middle of a love story. Every one of us, is a ring in this love chain. If we don't understand this, we haven't yet understood what the Church is about.â? The Pope also said that the 'organizational aspects' of the Church should never be first in line. At that point, he said, the Church runs the risk of collapsing and becoming an NGO. This is actually the second time the Pope has publicly talked about this issue.  The other was back in March, when he celebrated his first Mass as Pope in the Sistine Chapel with all the cardinals who elected him.
