Pope to Confirm 44 people during Sunday Mass

At least 70,000 people are expected to attend, many of them will be youths. To welcome them a short pilgrimage will take place on Saturday the 27th.  It will start at the obelisk in St. Peter's Square and end inside the Vatican at the tomb of St. Peter. A total of 44 people, from all ages, will receive the Sacrament of Confession. The youngest, from Italy and Romania are 11 years old. The oldest is a 55 year old from the Cape Verde Islands.   The Sunday Mass will start at 10:00 a.m.  Then in the afternoon many will gather at the Vatican's Paul VI Hall, where some of faithful, who were just confirmed, will talk about their personal spiritual journey. They will also receive a gift from the Pope himself. ARCH. From May 3rd to the 5th, the Day of Confraternities and of the Popular Piety will be celebrated. From the 18th to the 19th is the Day for the Movements, the Associations, and Lay Associations.
