Pope phones more than 100,000 faithful, taking part in the Macerata-Loreto pilgrimage
On its official website, organizers posted video of the gathering and the excitement following the Pope's phone call.

The 17 mile overnight pilgrimage began on Saturday night and ended Saturday morning. All the way from Macerata to the Marian shrine in Loreto.
The pilgrimage organized by the Communion and Liberation Movement, has been going on for 35 years now.
In his brief message the Pope encouraged the pilgrims to live out their faith and making it present in their daily lives. He also said that life is a type of pilgrimage, where the most important thing an encounter with Jesus.
