Delegation from the Orthodox Church meets with Pope

POPE FRANCIS ;“The search for unity among Christians is an urgent task. You said, ; ?It?s not a luxury, but an imperative.? Today more than ever, we cannot disregard this. ; In our world that hungers and thirsts for truth, love, hope, peace, and unity, our testimonies calls us to at the very least proclaim, with one voice, the good news of the Gospel and celebrate together the Divine Mysteries of our new life in Christ.”

Following tradition, the delegation plans to attend the Papal Mass on June 29. It will be celebrated in St. Peter?s Basilica, where the Pope will impose the pallium on more than 30 metropolitan archbishops.
