Pope Francis meets with Italian and Argentinian soccer players in Rome

Pope Francis met with professional soccer players from Argentina and Italy on Tuesday morning. The greeting was held a day before the teams hit the field for a friendly match in Rome.

Wednesday's game will be played in honor of the Pope, who is an avid soccer fan. ; Star players like Lionel Messi from Argentina and Mario Balotelli from Italy, will not be playing due to injuries.
