Anglican Minister and Catholic theologist to recieve 2013 Ratzinger Prize for Theology

October 26, 2013 (Romereports.com) This Saturday, Pope Francis will give out one of the most prestigious theological prizes to the Anglican Dean of King's College, Richard A. Burridge, and the German theologist Christian Schaller. The latter is one of the chief scholars that is helping publish the complete works of Joseph Ratzinger. 

This is the third prize given by the Joseph Ratzinger-Benedict XVI Foundation, the institution that holds Pope emeritus' royaltiesfrom the sale of his books. 

The prize is given to "distinguished scholars in certain areas of theological knowledgeâ? and it includes a $70,000 check to continue their studies and investigations.
