Pope to Congregation for Catholic Education: Teaching is an act of love

Pope Francis met with the members of the Congregation for Catholic Education. During his remarks, the Pope focused on the importance of school as a place for encounter and dialogue, since Catholic schools also enroll non-believers as students.

POPE FRANCIS "Catholic Education is one of the greatest challenges for the Church, which is committed to carrying out the New Evangelization, in a historic and cultural context that is in constant transformation.

Pope Francis also highlighted the need to constantly train teachers. "You cannot improvise, the Pope said. But he added that, "teaching is an act of love.
