Pope to Focolare bishops: It's necessary to show that fraternity is possible

Pope Francis welcomed a delegation of bishops, friends to the Focolare Movement, at the Vatican's Clementine Hall.

After a presentation from the archbishop of Bangkok, the Pope talked about unity and fraternity. He asked the bishops to continue working for Christian brotherhood.

POPE FRANCIS

"Today's society has a great need for the testimony of a style of life, from which emerges the novelty offered to us by the Lord, Jesus: brothers who care for each other in spite of their differences of character, origins, or age.

The bishops represent dioceses from all over the world. They all gathered at Castel Gandolfo to celebrate the 37th international meeting of bishops, friends to the Focolare Movement.
