First prayer invoking St. John Paul II will call on leaders to recognize human dignity

Once John Paul II and John XXIII are officially proclaimed saints, the Church will, for the very first time, say a prayer invoking each one of them.  St. John XXIII's prayer will focus on peace and the universal call to end hatred. It will be said in Chinese and it partly reads 'Help the leaders of nations, in their thoughts and decisions to reject every escalation of hatred and violence.'  John Paul II's prayer will call on all sectors of society, cultural, scientific and government leaders to recognize the dignity of all people. That prayer will be said in French and it partly reads: "In every person may honor be given to Jesus risen and alive.â?  KLH  RR FA -PR Up: PM
