Pope names bishops to Brazil and Peru, and delegate to OAS

July 16, 2014. Pope Francis appointed Msgr. Juan Carlos Vera Plasencia as the bishop for the Military Ordinariate of Peru: as well as Msgr. ;Tarcísio Scaramussa as the co-adjuntor bishop of Santos (Brazil). ;He also nominated Msgr. Bernardito Sauza as the permanent observer to the Organization of American States. He is, currently, the permanent observer to the United Nations in New York. ;
