Pope Francis met with the bishops of Ghana, who were in the Vatican on their 'Ad Limina Apostolorum visit.

It was a warm, cordial meeting from the beginning.

The Pope greeted the prelates one by one. Once they were all seated, he spoke for several minutes and then handed them an envelope with a written message.

In his address to the bishops of Ghana, the Pope highlighted the work the Church is carrying out in the field of healthcare in Africa. He mentioned that Her help is especially needed now, due to the Ebola outbreak. The Pope also prayed that this 'tragedy may end soon.

As a gift, the bishops gave Pope Francis a colorful stole he wore at the end of the meeting. Before saying farewell, the Pope asked them for their prayers.
